Night Elf Color Chart
Good things come to those who wait!
As you can probably tell, I was not lucky, as I had no chart for you late last week, nor even early this week. I contracted a bit of the plague over the weekend and am finally on the mend.
So, less about me, and more about our Not-Moo brothers and sisters, here you go!

Apparently, Femms of the night come in two flavors of purple while the more testosterone-inclined get four shades of green! At least that’s what WoW-Model-Viewer tells me.

Question, though: in the bottom two pairs, the “teal” hair color looks the same, though it is placed for both pairs of bear/cats. Is that just a trick of the eye that the color looks the same, or is there confusion about what color the tealy-haired elves will come out in the feral wash?
It must be an issue in your monitor settings Kae. I took screencaps directly from each of the different options offered in WoW Model Viewer.
When I was putting this together it was easier to see the differences when they were right next to each other, though I do agree they look very similar. Personally, I think Night Elves could get some really nice variety if their hair colors had highlights in them, similar to how Taurens have flat colors and an option for spots. But, that’s just me

It is just a trick of the eye, I think… too many tealy-greens, those silly elves! As when you were making the image, I stuck the two teal circles side by side in photoshop and they are certainly different
Think the bordering shadow along the side of the image was making my head insist that they were the same color, just overshadowed by the border, or something…

My druid has the dark green hair, and is male. My cat form aligns with the chart on the ptr, however hsi bear form is black. This is something charts seem to have wrong, atleast for the bear form aspect.
Actually, there’s a problem with the Night Elf bear forms right now on the PTR. Almost all elves will find they have the black bear. When this is fixed you should have the bear that’s listed on the chart.
Those ‘extra’ hair colours in WoW modelviewer are exclusive to Death Knights I believe. Certainly the red/purple is exclusive to female night elf DK’s
Excellent resource! Can we get one for worgen and trolls?
I’m sorry to dissapoint you, but I won’t be doing color charts for Trolls or Worgen. This is mainly because I don’t play WoW anymore, nor do I have access to a computer with WoW and WoW Model-viewer installed.
I’m glad you enjoy the charts I did for the Tauren and Night Elves though
